Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

Dashly ("we", "us") keeps the things you track and shows them as dashboards at dashly.si. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time link or with Google, and your time zone, so days start and end where you are.

What you track: the topics you or your assistant create, the entries logged to them (values, notes, tags and times), the dashboards built from them, and which assistant or token logged each entry.

Assistants you connect: when you connect ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, we record which app it is, the permissions you approved and when it was last used. Its credentials are stored only in hashed form.

Devices: the browsers signed in to your account and the devices you pair to show dashboards, with the name you give each one, which dashboard it shows, and when it was last used.

Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We keep your subscription status and Stripe's customer reference, never your card number.

Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working, and to limit abuse.

Product analytics: we use PostHog to understand how the site and the app are used. Where the law requires your consent, we ask first and record nothing until you answer. If you decline, PostHog counts your visit without storing anything on your device. Once you are signed in, analytics for that session are tied to your account.

How we use information

We use the information above to run Dashly: signing you in, storing and summarizing what you track, drawing your dashboards, sending sign-in links and sharing invitations, billing your subscription and answering support requests. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use what you track for advertising.

Assistants you connect

A connected assistant can read and change your Dashly data within the permissions you approved: your topics, entries and dashboards, and your account settings if you allowed that. It acts on your instructions.

The assistant's provider (for example OpenAI for ChatGPT, or Anthropic for Claude) receives what the assistant reads from Dashly and handles it under its own privacy policy. These providers are not our service providers: you choose to connect them. We never receive your conversations, only the requests the assistant makes to Dashly.

Removing Dashly from your assistant, or disconnecting it in Dashly's Settings, stops its access.

Cookies and storage

Signing in sets one cookie, dashly_session, which keeps you signed in. It is needed for the service to work.

Analytics follows the choice described above. We keep a small record of that choice in your browser so we do not ask on every page. Besides the pages you visit, these are the events we record:

Who processes your information

ServiceWhat it doesWhat it gets
CloudflareHosting, the database and sign-in emailsYour account, everything you and your assistant log, and the emails we send you
StripePaymentsYour email and billing details. Card numbers go to Stripe and never reach us
GoogleSign-in, only if you choose GoogleYour email address and name
PostHogProduct analytics, with your consent where the law asks for itPages visited, device and browser details, and the product events listed under Cookies and storage

A screen you pair to a dashboard shows that dashboard as it is, live. It cannot open your topics or your entries. Your Home dashboard shows only on devices you sign in on or pair as your own.

How long we keep information

We keep your account and what you track for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription ends, or you ask us to delete your account, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back, then delete it. Records we must keep by law, such as billing records, are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to some uses of it. To use any of these rights, email us from the address you sign in with. We may transfer information internationally to provide the service, using appropriate safeguards where required.

Children

Dashly is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When the change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
