Every way a tile can look
Each thing you track gets a tile. Below is every visual a tile can use, for each kind of goal, then how a tile changes through the day and at each size. To change one, ask your assistant, for example “Show Water as a ring”.
Visuals for each kind of goal
Dashly picks a visual that fits what you track. Scenes are illustrated and keep moving a little. Charts are flat and still, like a health or finance app. Plain drops the picture and keeps the number with one line about it.
Reaching a target
A goal of at least: water, protein, steps, savings.
Staying under a limit
A goal of at most: calories, spending, screen time, drinks.
Staying in a range
A goal between two values: sleep, temperature, heart rate.
Something to avoid
A topic to avoid: headaches, panic attacks, cigarettes, takeaway.
Consistency
A daily habit ticked off: meditation, stretching, vitamins.
A long-term goal on a reading
A reading like weight: a goal until a date, or no goal.
A rating
Mood, energy, pain, focus.
Counting with no goal
Coffees, meetings, pushups, purchases.
Tasks
To-dos with due dates.
Time spent
Reading, meditation, practice, runs.
How a tile reads your day
The same tile at different points of a day, shown as its usual scene, as a chart and as plain.
A goal to reach
Nothing logged yet, part way there, then the goal met.

A limit
Room left, close to the limit, then over it.

A range
Short of it, inside it, then past it.

Something to avoid
A quiet day counts as a good one. When it happens, the tile says so without turning red.

Task cards
A medium tile names the next task. Wide and large tiles list the open tasks with when each is due, and a large one also says what changed last. The chip puts late tasks first, then tasks due today.
At each size
How it stands
Every size
A small tile is the number alone. Medium adds the visual, wide gives it room, and large adds one more chart or list beside the number.
